The story illustrates how he causes the death of Bhishma by tricking him into playing a game that has deadly consequences. It also shows how Shakuni convinces Duryodhana (Bharat) to focus on winning the war rather than dividing it equally between himself and his cousins; the Pandavas. The movie ends with Shakuni using his special knowledge of games to win all games played in Hastinapura, thus sealing the victory for Duryodhana (Bharat)'s side. After being defeated in both dice game and the battle of wits, Bhishma lays down his arms. Shakuni plays another game to convince him to die fighting so that he can achieve salvation for himself.The music was composed by J. The contract signing ceremony took place on 13 February 2013 in Hyderabad. It is the first movie attempt for Sudheer Babu after his marriage and its first movie for Lakshmi Rajyam after her marriage too. The filming for this movie started on 27 June 2013 in Hyderabad and was released on 24 October 2013. The film was expected to release in January 2014 but got delayed due to some reasons.The film received positive reviews from critics.
